Utah's Repertory Dance visits
Fifteen people supported participated in a performance of Utah’s Repertory Dance Theatre on February 27. The day started with a two-hour rehearsal before their big debut. It gave the dance professionals a chance to meet and get to know the students they’d be working with and see each person’s strengths as a dancer. A performance was held later for the public.
Since 1966, Utah’s Repertory Dance Theatre has led the nation as America’s premier modern dance repertory company. For 45 years, they have been entertaining and enlightening audiences throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, in major metropolitan cities as well as rural and remote areas, from Vienna, Austria, to Skagway, Alaska. They are committed not only to the highest artistic ideals, but also to a maximum level of enriching activities and stimulating involvement with community members of all ages wherever they go. The Utah’s Repertory Dance Theatre visit is sponsored in part by the Allied Arts Fund, Senator Stanford Adelstein Fund.
