Volunteer for fun
Many people served by Black Hills Works have the desire and skills to participate in educational, recreational, and leisure activities, but lack the resources and support to accomplish these goals. For many individuals, volunteers help provide the necessary support.
Do you have a talent or hobby you’re passionate about? Volunteers in our Learning Institute share their hobbies with the people we support.
Are you interested in sports? We always need volunteers to assist with our Special Olympics program. Right now we are looking for coaches to assist with volleyball, track & field, and soccer. We are also in need of chaperones to attend the equestrian meet in Huron July 14-16.
And we welcome volunteers to assist with a variety of other artistic and recreational activities. If you’re interested in any of these activities, contact Joe Burmeister at 605-593-1144.
