Planned Gifts are legacy gifts to Black Hills Workshop Foundation. By making such a gift you become a member of our planned giving recognition group, the Ep Howe Family of Friends.
Ep Howe (1916 - 2004)
was a community leader, legacy donor and a founder of the Black Hills Workshop Foundation.
We are proud to recognize his many contributions to BHW and his dedication to helping people with disablilities by naming our legacy society for him.
Planned gifts can be through your estate plan, or through a life insurance policy, a trust or a charitable gift annuity.
Charitable gift annuities have been used for more than a century to support nonprofit organizations such as Black Hills Workshop Foundation. A CGA provides the donor with a gauranteed income of a regular, fixed sup paid each year for the rest of your life.
While CGA's are not regulated by the South Dakota Division of Insurance, a CGA is a contract between you and Black Hills Workshop Foundation and you may enjoy significant tax
benefits. At the completion of the terms of the CGA agreement, the remainder of the original principal of your contribution will benefit BHW Foundation.
